We provide budget bus travel at competitive prices, around the South
Island, New Zealand.
We have been transporting kiwis, international visitors and backpackers
around the South Island for nearly 20 years on coaches at economic fares.
We offer some accommodation, and Backpacker pick ups and drop offs.
We will match or better a competitor fare at a comparable time excluding
$1.00 (one dollar) fare.
We may not always be the cheapest bus travel but feel free to contact us
and we will endeavor to match it
On some of our services InterCity is our carrier.
Atomic will better any competitors fare by 10% on a comparable journey eg
morning service against morning service. So please give us the opportunity to match or better any fare out there. (excludes $1 fares)
Pick up and drop off points in Christchurch.
We are now able to pick up from inside the 4 Avenues on most services, our
new central pick up point will be outside the Cantebury Museum on Rolleston
Avenue.
Report times are 15 minutes prior to departure of service.

$20.00 per person, on most Atomic Travel operated legs eg Christchurch to Nelson includes 2 legs Christchurch-Blenheim, Blenheim to Nelson.
These are available by approaching the driver from our central pick up points Christchurch= Canterbury Museum Rolleston Avenue to Central drop off points, and if a seat is not booked you can approach the driver for a Stand By fare of $20.00

Christchurch to Queenstown/Wanaka and return is on reduced days over winter. Please note from the 1st of May through to October this will be operating Christchurch to Queenstown and Wanaka Friday Saturday and Sunday Return on Saturday Sunday and Monday only.
Wanaka/Queenstown-Dunedin 3pm and 10am Dunedin-Wanaka/Queenstown is also on reduced days for winter. Friday Saturday and Sunday Wanaka to Dunedin. Return Saturday Sunday and Mondays only.
